A friend of mine swears by all gods that his father owned a 300m, and it was able to drift. He refuses to acknowledge this car was FWD.

This is EXACTLY like my old POS Intrepid......it did have comfortable seats though.

Reason they were called the last hope. Even the 2.7L was called the LH motor....

They must be tuned towards oversteer or something. I remember someone in high school with an Intrepid that was able to “drift”, supposedly.

I liked the way Intrepids looked. Unpopular opinion, sure, but i like them

yes - drift off the road with understeer, (though honestly, the 300m was probably the best of that lot.)

It wasn’t a bad car. At least over the experiences I had with it (two of my friends). I remember loving the interior of this car, back in 2003 or so. The white dials with chrome ring (before everyone got tired of it), the comfortable seats.

We’ve got those 200’s at work as sales cars and they are junk. But before that we had 1st gen Magnums and I really liked those. Good power from the 3.5, road comfortable but well damped, the interior didn’t have all the gaudy chrome/fake wood and the rear hatch was super useful.
